Why We Exist
Because somewhere along the way, functioning became the measure of being okay.
We hear it constantly: I'm sore. I'm exhausted. I'm so busy. I can't switch off. I'm overwhelmed. I'm running on empty.
And yet people keep functioning.
We don't think the answer is simply telling people to do less.
Life creates load. Physical load. Cognitive load. Emotional load. Some of that load comes from doing things we genuinely care about training, working, parenting, learning, competing and living full lives.
The problem isn't that our nervous system responds to demand. It's supposed to. The problem is when demand keeps accumulating without enough opportunity to recover.
That's why State of Being exists.
Not to remove the demands of your life, but to help you build the capacity to meet them and recover from them.
We want you to recognise your state earlier, understand what your body is communicating and know what you can do in response. Because recovery isn't the reward for getting through the work. Recovery is part of how the work gets done.
