Run & Recover Session
Meet the demand. Practice the recovery.
Run & Recover is a guided session designed around both sides of performance the ability to meet physical demand and the ability to recover from it.
You'll spend 30 minutes outdoors running, using breath and pacing techniques to better understand how your body responds as demand increases. Then, back at State of Being, we'll guide you through 30 minutes of intentional recovery, using a specific sequence of modalities designed to support recovery from the load you've just created.
Each session brings a different running stimulus from Fartlek to Flat while giving you the opportunity to notice your state, understand your response and practise shifting from demand into recovery.
Because performance isn't only about how much load you can handle. It's also about how effectively you can recover from it.
